Water softening technology and components

The primary technology used in industrial water softeners is ion exchange. These systems typically include: 

• Ion-Exchange ResinThe core component that removes hardness-causing minerals (calcium and magnesium) from the water by exchanging them with sodium or potassium ions.
• FRP VesselsCorrosion-resistant vessels that hold the resin.
• Brine TankA separate tank where a salt (NaCl or KCl) solution is stored for regenerating the resin once it becomes saturated.

Automatic Clack Pentair and Manual Multiport Valves: Control the flow of water and the regeneration cycle, which can be operated automatically or manually.
